This model is awesome but had some problems, like cooling. It was reaching 100C of cpu heat when browser running one simple web site. There was need to replace heatsink and coolers, the coolers was used from 15 inch model of the same year macbook pro, also new thermal paste have been applied. Things have changed a little bit, now cpu heat never reaches 80C and it's safe to use it. Even under heavy loads it does not reach 80C, battery also replaced with the cheap one from china, it holds up to 2 hours of average use. The mountain lion was installed using some unofficial patcher, because this model as i correctly remember only can run Lion. I'm using it mainly with Kodi media center, because it nicely works with Apple remote control, white one with irDA. It has big nice screen to watch movies, etc, it have enough cpu power to do so.
